ProPak Vietnam 2023 brings new solutions for the processing and packaging industry

ProPak Vietnam 2023 is returning from November 8 to 10 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, promising to bring valuable trading opportunities for both domestic and foreign enterprises in the processing and packaging industries.

The 16th International Processing and Packaging Exhibition in Vietnam (Propak Vietnam 2023), will be a platform for processing and packaging enterprises to discover the latest innovative equipment and technologies, allowing them to upgrade their production processes, enlarge their scale, and adhere to sustainable standards.

General manager of Informa Markets Vietnam BT Tee, the organiser of ProPak Vietnam shared, “Through the introduction of innovative technologies and product showcases, as well as enhanced connections between exhibitors and visitors, the exhibition will offer a dynamic business platform that will shape the future of the processing and packaging industries.”

“These activities will contribute to integrating economic, social, and environmental considerations into production, which is particularly important in an industry such as this that closely impacts the environment,” he added.

With an exhibition area spanning up to 10,000 square metres, ProPak Vietnam 2023 will proudly welcome over 450 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and territories.

Most of the exhibitors hail from developed nations and territories, covering the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Over the three show days, ProPak Vietnam 2023 will assemble a diverse array of internationally acclaimed enterprises that comprehensively cover the market’s various sectors.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience full-scale machinery in action, examine materials and equipment up close, encounter the newest technologies, and discover innovative ideas – all while nurturing relationships with potential clients, distributors, and industry experts.

Tee said, “I hope that all the manufacturers and businesses within the industry can unite, drive change collectively, and become pioneers in the transition towards a circular economy.”

With a reputation built over 15 years of success, ProPak Vietnam has firmly established its position as a familiar destination for tens of thousands of industry-specialised visitors each year.

This year, ProPak Vietnam 2023 is projected to draw in over 10,500 attendees, primarily consisting of business owners, executive boards, and high-ranking specialists empowered with decision-making authority within their respective enterprises.

Beyond its exhibition space, ProPak Vietnam 2023 also provides a series of international seminars, conferences, and technical sessions revolving around practical topics within the processing and packaging sector.

These encompass cutting-edge smart packaging technologies, recent regulations concerning manufacturers’ extended responsibilities under the nation’s Environmental Protection Law, and solutions to enhance production efficiency and minimise environmental impacts.

With the goal of bringing added value to the packaging community, Informa Markets is collaborating with The Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication to organise a roadshow.

This pre-show seminar is scheduled to take place on September 8 at Duc Hoa Industrial Park in Long An province. The event promises to offer attendees insights into the future of the packaging industry within the practical context of Vietnam, and will be presented by industry-leading experts.

The world is producing twice as much plastic waste as it did two decades ago, with the bulk of it ending up in landfill, incinerated, or finding its way into the environment. Currently, only 9 per cent successfully recycled, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Report 2022.

The growing global population has increased the demand for plastic packaging, meaning that without action, this problem will only intensify further.
