Project scale : 36.2 km and Thạnh Xuân depot, Hiệp Bình Phước depot.
Description : PROJECT OBJECTIVES The Project is to construct a system of urban railways, under the general planning of the city, in connecting with other public traffic system in the city and other commercial services, providing public transport services with big capacity, safety and friendly to environment.
THE EXPECTED INVESTMENT CAPITAL VND 77,700 billion (equivalent to US$ 3,532 million)
GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT National key projects. Under Decision no. 568/QD-TTg dated 08/04/2013 by the Prime Minister approving the adjustment of planning for
development of traffic and transport of HCMC till 2020 and vision after 2020. Route direction: Thạnh Xuân (District 12) - Hà Huy Giáp - Nguyễn Oanh - Nguyễn Kiệm - Phan Đình Phùng - Hai Bà Trưng - Bến Thành - Nguyễn Thái Học - Tôn Đản - Nguyễn Hữu Thọ - Hiệp Phước Urban Area. Metro No. 4 has 33 stations (2 on-land stations, 16
high-above stations, 15 underground stations). The route has Thạnh Xuân depot with area of 27 ha at the Ward
CONSTRUCTING METRO LINE NO. 4 (THANH XUÂN - HIỆP PHƯỚC URBAN AREA)
Thạnh Xuân, District 12 and Hiệp Phước depot with area of 20 ha at Hiệp Phước commune, Nhà Bè District in serve for parking and maintenance of trains. The project consultants suggested to divide the investment into 4 phases: Phase 1a: Station at Gia Định park - Hoàng Diệu station, including depot at Gia Định park (L=6,375 km). Phase 1b: Station at Gia Định park - Thạnh Xuân (L = 6,975 km). Phase 1c: Hoàng Diệu station - Phước Kiểng station (L = 4.95 km). Phase 2: Phước Kiểng station - station at Hiệp Phước harbor (L= 17,35m)
