Vietnam is one of the most successful economies in terms of attracting foreign direct investment. Ho Chi minh City is the largest city and the economic hub of the conutry. Over 3,000 projects across all sectors are invested by foreign capital. Since 1988, more than USD 25 billion in FDI has been recorded.

Build up modern college with study areas, sport areas, practice areas, residential areas, service areas etc. in order to improve the quality of training human resources to serve for the city industrialization and modernization. Construction land of Ly Tu Trong College is about 6 km far away from the Cu Chi center district to the southwest.
 
Water overflow resistant (overflow due to floods from upstream, tidal etc.) and adapt to climate change and protect 1,600 hectares of urban land with a population of about 25,000 people in the Saigon River right coast from the Cau Ngang canal to Thu Thiem New Township. Renew the urban and protect environment to make conditions for socio- economic development, improving their material and spiritual needs.
 
The main objective of the project "Saigon River dike from Vàm Thuật to Kinh river" is to coordinating with other projects under planning in 1547 to prevent flooding for the right coast of Saigon River - Nha Bè belonging Ho Chi Minh City which consider the impact of climate change by 2050 and 2100 to facilitate economic and social development of a sustainable city.
